The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development organization in India that fosters discipline, leadership, and patriotism among students. It provides training in basic military skills, community service, and adventure activities, helping young people build character and a sense of responsibility. The NCC operates under the motto "Unity and Discipline," aiming to instill values that contribute to the nation's development.
“The main aim of NSS is to do the welfare of the society and the country. As a part of NSS more than 50 student volunteers have been actively involved in social outreach programme. Students were taken to nearby coastal villages. The people in the village are economically backward and easily affected by TB. In order give awareness on TB, students meet the villagers in their house and told them about the causes of TB.

Regina, Primary Health Center Agasteeswaram, was the Chief guest. She gave a talk on “TB and its effects”. Students were given TB prospectus and they gave the prospectus to the Siluvai Nagar and Vavathurai villagers. Through this activity the village people got wareness on TB and they were very much benefitted by this programme. The President and the Secretary of Siluvai Nagar Village, appreciated the student volunteers for their social concern.

LEO Club encourages youths to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. National Service Scheme Cell of Rohini College of Engineering & Technology initiate a Leo Club. This club option offers flexibility to reach new groups of people and serve a variety of communities. To bring a community together, give them the opportunity to make a difference and enable them to see great things happen by chartering a new Lions club". "Leo Clubs were a youth organization and the word "Leo" stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity." The members from Leo Club conduct various projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, differently abled, literacy and education, and self-development. Their main role is to conduct projects with another Leo club, sponsoring Lions club, or with an outside organization. Leo clubs were sponsored by Lions clubs and comprise an official program of Lions Clubs International. The Lions Club as a whole, focuses on addressing humanitarian needs, improving eye care, supporting youth and providing disaster relief. LEO Club was the largest youth club of voluntary character in the world, present in 140 countries with over 160,000 members.
The Red Cross Society indeed stands out as a globally recognized humanitarian organization. It operates with a strong commitment to neutrality and impartiality, providing aid based solely on need and without regard to nationality, race, or religious beliefs. Its role in delivering emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education is highly respected worldwide. As an independent entity, the Red Cross is dedicated to alleviating human suffering and supporting the well-being of individuals regardless of their background.
The main aim of RRC is to save the life of human being by donating blood. As a part of RRC blood donation camp was conducted twice in Rohini College of Engineering and Technology. More than 500 students were donated blood and saved the life of the people throughout the world. All the students were actively participated in the blood donation camp and they also became aware of their own blood group.
It is a comprehensive promotional and preventive service to enhance the attitude of voluntary blood donation as well as mainstream HIV & AIDS prevention, care & support to the needy among the youth in educational institutions. It also prepares and promotes youth peer educators within and outside the campuses.
The club aims to connect members with the natural world through educational activities, outdoor experiences, and conservation efforts. It provides a platform for students to engage in activities that enhance their understanding of environmental issues and inspire them to contribute to the preservation of nature. Organize seminars, debates, lectures and popular talks on environmental issues. Conduct campaign against banned carry bags, use of loud speakers etc. Make field visit to environmentally important sites including polluted and degraded sites. Organize rallies, marches, human chains and at public places with a view to spread environmental awareness. Cycling club is the most novel initiative of the Rohini College to introduce to its pupil one of the finest forms of gathering for fun, exercise and healthy way of living by eco-friendly riding with a social message of environment sustainability. The Club aim is to provide information, sharing experiences and resources for cyclist and encourage everybody to be part of this Club. The Club welcomes cycling clubs of all colleges across India to join and share their motto, experiences and routine ride plan, so that the students of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology.
Yoga club offers a holistic approach to the development of students, impacting physical, mental, emotional, and moral dimensions of their lives. Yoga promotes physical well-being through exercises (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and relaxation methods that boost immunity, strength, and vitality. Regular yoga practice sharpens mental clarity and cognitive functions. It helps in stress management and enhances focus, memory, and decision-making abilities.Yoga fosters emotional resilience and balance, aiding students in managing their emotions more effectively, which is critical for personal growth. Yoga integrates ethical teachings (yamas and niyamas) that encourage students to cultivate qualities like honesty, kindness, and discipline.
The Culinary Club provides a fun-filled, hands-on approach to exploring the world of culinary arts! Through engaging activities, participants will gain practical experience in preparing a variety of meals, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, appetizers, and desserts. The club provides an opportunity for campers to experiment with ingredients and recipes. Towards the end of the program, participants will plan and execute real-world culinary ventures, such as serving a formal dinner, setting up a food stand, or providing take-out lunches for a chosen target market. Through this program, students will leave not only with enhanced culinary skills but also with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to manage food-related projects or even run a business. It’s the perfect mix of creativity, learning, and practical application.
The Finance and Self-Employment Club is focused on providing students with the tools they need to succeed in both financial management and entrepreneurship. It helps students develop skills that will allow them to manage their finances wisely and explore self-employment opportunities, including how to start and grow a business .The objectives are to understand financial planning, accounting, cash flow management, and business taxes. Insights into investments that support long-term growth for individuals and businesses.
The Marketing and Promotion Club is dedicated to helping students cultivate essential skills in marketing, branding, and promotional strategies. By providing a platform for hands-on learning and creative exploration, the club allows members to engage with modern marketing practices and understand how to effectively promote products, services, and ideas in today’s competitive environment.It foster an understanding of how to develop and implement promotional strategies across various platforms, with an emphasis on both traditional and digital marketing.
