AAYUDHA POOJA

On 9th October 2024, the Biomedical Engineering department of our college came together to celebrate Saraswati Pooja, a festival dedicated to the goddess of wisdom, learning, and the arts. The event took place in our anatomy lab, which was beautifully decorated to mark the occasion of Ayudha Pooja. Every element needed for the celebration was carefully arranged, creating an atmosphere of devotion and festivity.

The pooja commenced with Shivesh ( II year) and Jai Harish(III year) leading the rituals, reciting the mantras, and performing the Deeparathanai (the ceremonial waving of light), which was shown to all the attendees. This was followed by a heartfelt bhajan session, led by the girls’ team consisting of Akalya, Akshara, Mathishra, and their group, who filled the lab with devotional songs, creating a serene and uplifting environment.

As part of the tradition, sweets were distributed to all the students and staff members of the department, further fostering a sense of community and togetherness. The celebration was completed with everyone in the department participating, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching event for all.

The event reflected the cultural values of our department and strengthened the bonds among students and staff, while paying homage to the goddess Saraswati for her blessings on our academic pursuits.
