ROAD MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME

The NSS students unit of RCET has effectively organised and participated in Road Maintenance work in and around the area of RCET Campus. The programme was headed by Shri.K.Neela Marthandan,Chairman and presided by Dr.Neela Vishnu,Managing Director and Dr.Blessy Geo, Chief Financial Officer,Dr.R.Rajesh,Principal. The Principal delivered the presidential address stating the importance of Road Maintenance because the maintenance of roads are undertaken to ensure the safety of traffic and to sustain the use and appearance of the road.

            The main objectives of National Service Scheme is to develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.The students actively participated under the guidance of Dr.Senthilvel, Head Coordinator of NSS and his team. The purpose of conducting such programmes help students to understand and creating awareness of social Issues as well as environmental Cleanliness.
