International Women’s Day was celebrated in Rohini College of Engineering & Technology on March 7th with enthusiasm and pride bringing together students, faculty, and staff to honor the achievements and contributions of women in various fields. The event served as a platform to inspire and empower young minds while fostering a spirit of equality and inclusivity.

The celebration commenced with an inaugural address by our esteemed Principal Dr.R.Rajesh , who emphasized the significance of gender equality and the role of education in empowering women. Special guest Dr.Subathra ChellaDurai , Founder/Director, Rural Women Empowerment Mission, shared her inspiring journeys and insights on Women's Empowerment, leadership, and breaking barriers.

Engaging activities such as Hackathon, Fireless Cooking, Rangoli, Mehandi, Hair Dressing and Face Art were conducted, allowing students to voice their perspectives .

The event concluded on a high note with cultural performances, including music, dance, and drama, reflecting the strength and resilience of women across different cultures and societies.
