A One Day Seminar On "FUNDAMENTALS AND DESIGN OF ANALOG SMPS"

Department of Electrical and Communication, initiated one day technical seminar on “Fundamentals and Design of Analog SMPS” for Students on 11.01.2019 at Opulent Hall. The session was initiated with an inauguration ceremony in the presence of the Board of Directors, Chief Guest Mr. J. Arul dhas, Managing Director, Techlab Electronics, Chennai.

Attending a seminar has numerous benefits, including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence. With detailed  step-by-step laboratory  exercises, this comprehensive, hands-on, laboratory based analog power supply design seminar provides an in-depth look at the design of modern, stable and robust switch mode power supplies. Covering general  principles of stable power supply design from AC/DC and PoL to bias supplies and isolated off-lines, this seminar is aimed at budding engineers whose focus is towards design and/or troubleshoots modern high performance power supplies.

The workshop began from first principles and looks at the fundamentals of switching power supply design. All theory was supported with numerous hands-on labs and all attendees left the seminar feeling conformable with stable compensator design for both voltage mode control and current mode control. Continuous learning and evaluating new technologies of this kind help student to stay ahead in this competitive world. In this seminar, Students of RCET and budding Engineers from various colleges got benefited. Thanking the efforts of student and the management the programme ended with the National Anthem.
