Format: The perfect event for all Tamil enthusiasts, putting to test the participant’s ability to think quickly and respond in an acceptable way. The team event, maximum 3 members per team.

The event consists of 2 rounds: Prelims (quiz) and Finals. There will be eliminated after the Prelims round. Violation of any rules will lead to disqualification. Rules: Details regarding Prelims and Finals will be announced at the venue.

REEL MAKING COMPETITIONS:To explore the creative side of our students, Raisoni Group brings you the most exciting Competition of this year, "The Reel Making Competition", with the theme "How I See My Campus". In this digital era, Reels have undoubtedly become a medium for the younger generation to exhibit their creativity and bring in the finest trends on social media.So, we have decided to utilize this expressive platform and celebrate the creativity of our students together. All you have to do is submit a 30-60 seconds long reel and get the chance to be featured on our Instagram page. Reel Making Competitions GUIDELINES: The reel must be an original creation. You can only be inspired by existing trends online. Plagiarized content lead to disqualification. Any offensive, name-calling, derogatory remarks, and/or regional slang towards any person or community should not be used. The video should not exceed 60 Seconds. The Competition is open to all Raisoni students from all campuses. Individual, as well as group entries (not more than 3 people), are allowed. Please use one medium of language for the reels. The submissions can be in either English or Tamil. Each Participant will accept only one entry, and a second entry will lead to disqualification. As per Reel format, the video should be made vertically and not horizontally.

The person in the middle will cover their eyes and count down from 10 to 0, loudly and slowly. Everyone else moves to one of the four corners, very quietly. When the person in the middle finishes counting, they choose a number from 1 to 4 (with her eyes still closed).

Uriyadi is a pot breaking game which is played during "Ashtami Rohini" (Krishna Jayanti). In Uriyadi, a player tries to catch a swinging earthen pot. A person who holds long ropes tied to the pot controls the movement of the pot swinging it towards and away from the player.

 Mime: (1) Only one entry from nstitution is entertained. (2) Maximum number of six participants is allowed to participate in this item.  (3) Judgment is most likely based on the qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of make-up,  music and overall impression.  (4) Duration of performance shall be a maximum of 5 minutes.

 

Treasure Hunt can be played as individuals or teams competing for time. It is fun to play either inside or out. The goal of the game is to lead the seekers through a set of clues that takes them from place to place to find a treasure. The “seekers” need to read each clue they find and figure out the next location.

Event Brief

1) Only one entry is accepted from each Institution. (2) The duration of the play should not exceed 30 minutes. (3) Time is counted as soon as the signal is given or the team starts giving introduction, whichever is earlier.   Empty stage to empty stage is followed strictly. For stage setting and removal of set and properties, up to  10 minutes is given after taking charge of the stage.  (4) The number of participants should not exceed nine and the maximum  number of accompanists should not  exceed three. The participating team shall bring their own set/ stage property, make up material etc. Light  and general property such as ordinary furniture may be provided on advance information.(5) Participants may speak in Hindi, English or any regional language of India. In case, the language is a regional one. The synopsis of the play with translation in, English or Hindi must be submitted to the Incharge of the competition on the day of registration. (6) The participating team must report to the Incharge of the competition at least two hours before the presentation of the play.  (7) Judgment is most likely be based on the qualities of the play like theme, work on acting, stage craft, design  and overall impression. (8) Decision of the panel of judges is final and binding upon all.  (9) Accompanists will either speak from the background or will play upon musical instruments for background  music. They shall not appear on the stage.

It is a word Guessing game where there will be three participants who will make a team among themselves and they will be given the title of a movie and they should guess the title of that movie through miming. One person should give the gestures and the other two should guess the title.

(1) Each Institution is represented by one participant.

(2) Item will be conducted on the spot and the participants will be allowed to do poster making on the subject / topic /  theme given by the In- charge of the competition.(3) Duration will not be more than 2 hours and 30 minutes.(4) Participants shall bring their own material. Only the drawing paper / sheet (22 x 15 ) will be provided by the   organizers.

Mimicry: (1) Each student artist is given 5 minutes both in the Zonal and Inter Zonal Festivals.  (2) Participants may mimic sound of machines and speeches of well-known persons etc. including film   personalities. (3) Only one entry is permitted. (4) Marking is based on (a) Skill imitating, (b) Variety of sound and voices, and (c) Overall Presentation.
