The Department of Civil Engineering of RCET has organized “A National Level Technical Symposium” CINFRA24 on 11.11.2024 @ Grand Arena. Our honorable Chairman Shri. K. Neelamarthandan, Pro-chairman Dr. N. Neela Vishnu, Managing Director Dr. V. M. Blessy Geo has graced the programme. The function started with Tamilthai Vazhthu and Lighting the Kutthuvilakku by Dignitaries. Our respected Head of Civil Engineering Department Dr. J. Sahaya Ruben welcomed the gathering. Then the presidential address was given by our respected Principal Dr. R. Rajesh.      

Dr. Sundarabalan V B, Former Research Scientist ,NASA and Senior ML Scientist, Geosensing and imaging consultancy Pvt.Ltd attended the program as the Chief guest and shared his thoughts. The chief guest imparted  about the Advanced Innovation in Engineering  and disaster management . The department magazine construct’24 was released by the chief guest in the presence of Principal, HOD and all the faculties. The academic toppers of Second , third and final year students were honoured in the program by the chief guest and principal. Technical events such as Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz, Puzzle hunt , Code cracking, CAD modeling and various Non-technical events were conducted in different venues. Around 70 students from various colleges have participated in the symposium. Prize distribution and valedictory function was conducted  on the afternoon section. Winners of various events were honoured with certificates and prizes. Final year student Esther sajitha delivered the vote of thanks.
