Yuva’ 19 is a state level inter-collegiate cultural fest that sets a platform and showcases the talent bounds. The two days event commenced on 8th, 9th of March, and the management takes pride in honoring the women of success on ‘The International Women’s Day’. The honorable Chairman, Shri. K. Neela Marthandan, presided the function. The women of honor Dr. Selva Priya, Obstetrician-Gynecologist Infertility & Fetal Medicine Specialist and Ms. Tushi Benjamin, President, Rotary club of Nagercoil-Queens delivered the chief guest address.

While Dr. N. Neela Vishnu, Managing Director, RCET and Dr. V. M. Blessy Geo, Chief Fiancial Officer, RCET graced the occasion with their sincere presence and the Principal Dr. R. Rajesh, felicitated the ceremony. The two days event unleashed the talents of those from the various districts. That was a sure visual treat for those gathered there within. The variety of programs set no boundary and invoked the presence of all sorts of talents. Art and creativity is the subtle motto says the Yuva’19; the more creative you are more laurels you owe. Play your hands on brushes, pencils, knives; set your foot on stage; say no word, just act; render your voice, we’d love to listen. This is all what Yuva’19 said. Nevertheless the occasion was thoroughly enjoyed and performed by everyone. Hours of practice were very evident in the polished performances. TAFRO – The Art Factory of Rohini, was elated to set stage for the flairs, and the committee made the occasion a grand success. TAFRO thus provides a channel for exhibiting the varied talents of the students. The students overcome their stage fear and develop leadership qualities and show personality development. This will go a long way in honing their quality of self-reliance which ultimately equips them in life skills necessary for seeking high level employment opportunities.
